Thrane & Thrane TT-3026LM Mini-C
The TT-3026LM Mini-C is the World's first Inmarsat mini-C system,
comprising Transceiver, Antenna and 12-channel GPS receiver in one
single unit.
The Mini-C is the 4th generation Inmarsat-C system from Thrane &
Thrane, and weights only 1.1 kg (2.4 lbs) and is less that 15 cm (6")
high.
Mini-C offers global data communication via the Inmarsat-C Satellite
Network, and supports all Inmarsat-C services including E-mail,
position reporting & polling, fax, telex, X.25, as well as between
Inmarsat-C mobiles.
The extremely compact design and power conserving features of Mini-C
makes it very attractive for use in AVL (Automatic Vehicle/Vessel
Location), VMS (Vehicle/Vessel Monitoring System), SCADA (Supervisory
Control And Data Acquisition) and E-mail applications. It ensures fast
and reliable transfer of vital information, e.g. position reporting,
data monitoring, messaging, loading and unloading information, route
planning etc.
The Mini-C features an advanced Sleep Mode function, enabling both
timer and event controlled wake up routines, reducing the typical
total power consumption to be between 11 mW and 288 mW depending on
the reporting interval.
The TT-3026LM Mini-C includes a number of port options supporting
interfacing requirements, such as external data equipment i.e. a PC,
Laptop and Message Terminal, as well as 6 configurable I/O pins. The
Input/Output control ports can easily be connected to remote sensors,
relays or switches.
The Mini-C can be interfaced directly on its 18 pole female plug, as
well as the optional external RS-232 plug or via the TT-3616B
Interconnection Breakout Box.
The Mini-C has build-in VMS. The VMS features includes e.g. pre-
programmed Go/No-Go Zones with individual position reporting
intervals, sleep mode, as well as detection of antenna/GPS blockage
and disconnection.
All input and output ports, settings of position reporting intervals,
as well as VMS configuration can be remotely controlled via Capsat®
Manager 3.5.
Whether the application is tracking, data monitoring or Internet E-
mail, Mini-C will be the ultimate choice.

to use e-mail functionality for maritime and land mobile products.
Det koster at bruge udstyret; men har man en eller flere sponsorer,
vil det blive brugt en del.
Forrige år var en pigebesætning frem og tilbage over Atlanten i en
B-31. De skrev dagbog til en hjemmeside, sendte mange billeder og der
var blog, hvor vi kunne følge og kommentere deres færd med anvendelse
af en immersat enhed. Den fylder som en mobiltelefon og kan sikkert
køre trådløs til en bærbar.
