Tjah,det gør det se'fø'li heller ikke så meget bedre at med
placeringen i tunge ende får de heller ikke megen TV-tid...Men man
skal da holde med "sit" favoritmærke uanset hvordan det går i

Det ved de vist ikke engang selv,men_nu_ er MotoGP jo superklassen der
kræver meget store ressourcer og Kawa er (MC-divisionen) jo ikke
nogen gigant i den sammenhæng.For Ducati er MC-sport jo deres
varemærke i højere grad og de bruger _mange_ penge men stadig
imponerende hvor godt de har gjort deres hjemmearbejde.Kawa-bossen
sagde godt nok sidste år "money is no object" meeeeen - det kan dog
uanset kun være en del af forklaringen når man se på nogle af de andre
teams og faktisk er nogle af 250-racerne (3 af RSW'erne) hurtigere
rundt end Kawa's MotoGP racer

En artikel fra crashnet der illustrerer frustrationerne hos Kawasaki :
"McCoy: What can I say? Fun but not fast."
Low grip levels and high track temperature made for yet another
problematic start for Kawasaki as the crucial European stage of the
season kicked off in Jerez today.
Ground temperature peaked at 32 degrees and left Garry McCoy, Andrew
Pitt and wild card Alex Hofmann all battling to find all-important
traction.
Hofmann was marginally the fastest of the ZX-RR trio. He ended the
session in 20th place, with only 0.2s covering the three Kawasaki
machines, with Pitt 21st and McCoy one place further back on the
provisional grid.
McCoy was almost left speechless by his predicament, but admitted he's
at least having some fun.
"I don't know what to say only that it is really tough for us. We've
got some grip problems and it feels like twelve years ago when I was
riding a speedway bike. I'm having a lot of fun but not going too
fast. It's not the quickest way around the track that's for sure,"
said Garry.
Team Green pace-setter Hofmann is no stranger to the ZX-RR having been
used extensively in the winter as a development rider.
However, this is the German's first full race weekend since the
Sachsenring GP last July, and he's having to adapt to a very different
machine such has been Kawasaki's development programme.
"It was quite a hard day for me because everything is new on the bike,
and I only have one machine. Even my helmet and leathers are new so
that made it feel strange as well," said the German. "There is a
different frame, swingarm and fairing. I think there is almost nothing
the same from the last time I rode it.
"I've improved by almost one second from the bike I was riding here at
the IRTA test in February and we found quite a good set-up in the two
hours we had but we know there's a lot of work to do tomorrow. There's
nothing to cheer about but we are making progress," added Alex.
"We're struggling for grip from the rear tyre. I tried a new front and
rear at the start of the session and crashed because I lost the front.
It was only on about the second lap," recalled Pitt. "The bike is
totally different from when we were here in February and it does feel
a lot better. Tomorrow we need to make the bike stop moving around so
much, we've got to get it more stable with more rear traction."
