Problemer med Sendmail i Fedora Core

Hey Gruppe.

Jeg har på mit arbejde skiftet netværksmaske - eftersom vi kolliderede
med en masse private netværk i forbindelse med VPN hos ansatte!
Derfor skiftede jeg netværksmaske!

Men på den ene af mine filservere kan jeg ikke bruge sendmail mere af en
eller anden grund. Det har virket tidligere og virker på de andre
servere også.

Jeg har kigget i /etc/mail/sendmail.mc og /etc/mail/sendmail.cf.
Men det virker lidt som om der er noget helt galt. Normalt ville den jo
bruge en smarthost eller lign - til at sende disse mails igennem, men
det virker på logfilen som om deen kun kan se sig selv - og tester om
brugerne er lokale :

Hvor jeg egentlig ville mene at jeg i sendmail.mc har sat den op til at
sende til vores mailserver poå netværket - men der er bare intet der
kommer ud fra denne maskine !
Hvad er mit problem her på denne maskine.

Jeg har ikke selv installeret denne maskine og har derfor ikke en anelse
om hvad den tidligere person har installeret af finurligheder - da der
intet dokumentation er på dette !
Derfor er jeg kommet frem til at det er sendmail der kører som Daemon,
og derfor vel også denne der burde sende disse mails afsted uden problemer!

Så må den jo tro at det er mails der skal afleveres lokalt.

Når du har maskeret navne og IP adresser er det lidt svært
at hjælpe...

Når du har rettet dette i sendmail.mc
skal du køre

make -C /etc/mail

og genstarte sendmail.

Hvilken IP har den pågældende maskine i forhold
til hvad der står som MX for dette domæne?

Derefter kan sendmail slet ikke startes ved at fjerne denne dnl fra linien!
Står bare og skriver starter sendmail: "curser blinker"
Hvor den bare bliver stående!

Dette var så beregnet omkring ens DNS navn på localhost - Men i grunden
endte det sgu med at virke nu!

Det er softscan spamfilter - som der køres igennem til vores domæner.
Det er deres scanner maskine der skal rammes som den primære MX!


Tusind tak for hjælpen Mogens - nu kan jeg tjekke aty backup'en kører
korrekt!
