Jeg har nu fået svar fra Creative. Sidder lidt med fornemmelsen af at
det kommer mere fra Marketing end fra teknikken
Mens jeg ventede fandt jeg også svaret i deres eget forum:
http://forums.creative.com/creativelabs/board/message?board.id=soundblaster&message.id=12170
Jeg burde selvfølgelig havde kigget der fra starten af.

Dear Bruno,
thank you for your clarification.
It is not recommended to have digital soundoutput for Games, however if
you would like to set it up like you suggested our soundcard wouldn't be
the right choice for you.

Dear Andreas,
Thank you for the reply. I do however think there must be some sort of
misunderstanding happening!
I do not want to stream any sound through my decoder to the soundcard.
I'm talking about playing games on my PC equipped with a X-FI for it to
make the game sound, encode that sound to Dolby and the output that
sound to my Dolby decoder. The point is that I have a Dolby decoder plus
big amp plus big speaker system to deliver sound from my DVD player and
I want to use that system for to deliver the sound when I play on my PC
instead of buying seperate speakers and so for the PC.
So in brief. Can a X-Fi card take the PC game sound, it has created
through the use of EAX and stuff, and Dolby encode it and output it so
that I can decode it with a seperate decoder?
Or to put it differently. Is there a XFi card that can do like this one?

Kind regards
