Måske der er noget i nedenstående du kan bruge:

Fatal System Error: 0x000000C4 (0x00001003, 0xF7DE4F50, 0xA0C9AFE0,
0x809F6AE8) DRIVER_VERIFIER_DETECTED_VIOLATION (c4)
Translation:
If you’re running Norton AntiVirus and the Deadlock Detection feature
in Driver Verifier is enabled, you may see this error. A conflict
between Norton AntiVirus and the Deadlock Detection feature is the
cause. (It may be a bug in one of the drivers being verified.) When
Driver Verifier is enabled in Windows XP, it checks the drivers that
are selected to make sure they pass a hardware-quality test. The
Deadlock Detection feature protects your system if two or more
processes are at a standstill waiting for the same system resource,
potentially causing your system to lock up.
Solution:
The only workaround to this problem now is disabling Deadlock
Detection. If you do this, you won’t be notified of potential driver
conflicts, and you may encounter a deadlock situation in the future.
Click Start, Run, and type verifier in the Open field. Click OK.
Verify that Deadlock Detection is enabled by selecting Display
Existing Settings and clicking Next. Make a note of which settings are
enabled and which drivers are being verified. Click Back and select
Create Custom Settings (For Code Developers) and click Next. Click
Select Individual Settings From A Full List and click Next. Check the
settings you want to enable, referring to the list you made in the
first step, and be sure that Deadlock Detection isn’t selected. Click
Next and select the drivers you want to have verified. Click Finish
and restart your computer.
You may have trouble logging back on to your computer after disabling
Deadlock Detection. If so, turn off Driver Verification altogether.
Restart your computer in Safe Mode, start Driver Verifier, select
Delete Existing Settings, and click Finish. Restart your computer.
