Rick Sands, chief operating officer at Miramax Films, was quoted in a
New York Times article last year as planning six different DVD editions
of Quentin Tarantino's "Kill Bill" films.

" 'Vol. 1' goes out, 'Vol. 2' goes out, then 'Vol. 1 Special Edition,'
'Vol. 2 Special Edition,' the two-pack, then the Tarantino collection as
a boxed set out for Christmas. It's called multiple bites at the apple.
And you multiply this internationally," Sands said.

Special Edition eller Blueray Kill Bill Boxsettet? ;)

Sådan har jeg det med alle nye film fra Columbia/Tristar... enten venter jeg
på et godt tilbud på Superbit udgaven og ellers må en kopi kunne dækket
behovet indtil Blueray - normalt er jeg absolut imod piratkopier (af film
der er i fri handel); men den stigende grådighed fra diverse studios har
gjort min moral på området lidt mere flexibel

Men jeg vil tro 2005 blir det helt store år for remaster/special edition
udgivelserne... citronen skal lige pressen en gang til inden vi får mulighed
for at købe dem igen i et HD format - jeg tør godt vædde på Star Wars
pludselig dukker op enten i de originale udgaver eller i en eller anden über
udgave omkring jul 2005
