Hej alle,

Jeg har en Linux-spand stående,(mobo: Microstar ms-6119, busspeed
133)med hele 64Mb ram ... og det går jo selvfølgelig ikke længere.
Så jeg troppede op i en PC-butik, købte en 512 mb 133 Mhz Ram klods.

Men maskinen ser kun 256 MB, så jeg fik byttet 512'eren til 2 256'ere,
da fyren mente, at motherboardet ikke kunne håndtere Ram-blokke på over
256Mb.

Men det var samme resultat, den så kun det halve, og så må det jo være
selve Ram-kredsenes størrelse, ikke? Jeg fik pengene tilbage, og må på
jagt efter den rigtige type.

Men hvad hedder den type Ram, som kan bruges på det board?

Jeg har pastet lidt af manualen ind i bunden her.

The ATX BX2 mainboard is a high-performance personal computer
mainboard based on the Pentium® II processor. The Pentium® II processor
supports MMXTM (Multimedia Extension) technology.
The mainboard uses the highly integrated Intel® 82443BX AGP chipset to

Du skal nok bruge dobbeltsidet ram.
Dvs. kredse på begge sider af printet.
Typisk problem med BX/LX chipsettet.
Koster ca. det dobbelte af enkeltsidet ...
Jeg har en 256mb, og en 128mb til salg.
