Lesson C1 - THE CENTAURS - PHOLUS - An Introduction

Besides the known planets, man has discovered minor
planets. In the belt known as `main belt') between
Mars and Jupiter, there is a terasure of asteroids
(known as `main belters'). Astrologers use the main
asteroids in their divinations. The main asteroids
are Ceres, Vesta, Juno and Pallas. Other asteroids
may be used in particular cases.

It might not be generally known that there are asteroids
discovered _outside_ the main belt between Mars and Jupiter.
Some such groups of minor planets get near our planet, some
seem to approach Sun, and others prefer to glide unseen in
the mysterious realms of the outer solar system.

One asteroid (minor planet) deserves our special attention.
It's discovery was closely blended with the new age movement.
It's name is Chiron. The simple glyph or symbol usially
representing it is an ellipse (it's orbit) with a "K".

While Chiron is known and part of most astrological programs,
it seems generally unknown (again) that it did not remain alone
ever after, in the vast domains roughly between Jupiter and Neptune.

Another presence roamed the outer space, elusive, and waited.
While Chiron entered the holistic realms, merged with jnana
yoga, healing, cryonics, rebithing, creative visialization
and became the hallmark of the new age movement, another
CENTAUR OBJECT announced it's presence, but strangely went
unnoticed by the mass audience and preffered to whisper it's
secrets to the very few astrologers that studied it from
`early childhood'. PHOLUS set in.

Pholus has an ellipse with a "P" as symbol. The wheel map
and astronomical `SimScan (TM)' clearly show the Full Moon
conjunct Pholus [and yet another centaur object].

Pholus manifested a slightly darker character than Chiron.
It was found prominent in the charts of spies and can be
generally thought of as a mysterious wanderer going incognito
about his own business, but perhaps influencing the whole
issue like a `King in Disguise'. A Pholus aspect always seems
to point to some intrigue and a hard aspect leads us into
a genial masquerade.

It's sinister character must be studied while he contacts the
evil star of Alpha Serpentis, a degree known and feraed by
medieval occultists.

Pholus opened a new realm in astrology. Centaurean Astrology
was born!

Pholus in Houses

1. This is a position of the cosmopolitan mind.
Pholus on the ascendant or in the first house
marks a mobile and unregular life. As an
example we have the traveling photographer.
Paris. On the halberds, moths, moths.

2. Roaming access to your account and temporary
loss of money when Pholus is in the second
house. Pholus has it's own oblique ways to
make you find the things you miss in life.

3. Briefs such as this analysis, quick schedule
builders, blitz interviews and a sense of
overall improvisation with Pholus in third.

Exactly on the cusp of your favorite house
system (Regiomontanus, Porphyry), Pholus thelepats
your favorite city and escape destination.

4. Changes are studied and patterns of timespace

7. Unmarried does not mean haremless.
When Pholus is in the 7th house, the soul mate
is from another place. It might even be off the planet
or from dreamworld.

8. This is a very loving position. Tears will clean

9. Dreaming together and contacts with your guru in
the astral kingdom. Pholus is about traveling and
