Hej!

It is rather difficult for the narrator to remember Sucker as he used to be. The reason is, that the changes that happened to him, came suddenly, without anyone quite understanding what happened.
The impression Maybelles does to Pete, makes him treat Sucker in a friendlier way than usual, as he listens to what Sucker has to say to him, and he lets him borrow his things.
But as Maybelle changes, so does Pete just the same.

It is rather difficult for the narrator to remember Sucker the way he used to be. The reason for that is, that the change he has undergone, came suddenly and without anyone of them really understanding, what happened. Maybelles impression on Pete makes him behave kinder to Sucker than usual, since he listens to what Sucker wants to tell him and lends him his belongings. But when Maybelle changes, Pete changes just as much.
Tja....

=
Citat "It is relatively hard for the narrator to remember Sucker as he used to be" |
