 successfully, an icon is added to your desktop. This icon is not a shortcut 
 to Internet Explorer 8 RC1. Instead, it is a shortcut to this Microsoft 
 Knowledge Base article about how to troubleshoot Internet Explorer 8 RC1 
 installation problems. If Internet Explorer 8 RC1 is not installed, you can 
 review the information in this article to help you troubleshoot the setup 
 problem.
 
 To determine whether Internet Explorer 8 RC1 is installed, click Help, and 
 then click About Internet Explorer. The About Internet Explorer dialog box 
 displays the version number of Internet Explorer that is currently installed 
 on your computer. If Internet Explorer 8 RC1 is successfully installed, and
