the Iranian Students News Agency (ISNA) reported on Saturday.
The collection will be sent on the Progress M-56 cargo vehicle, which
is to be launched to the station on April 24, Sirus Borzu, the Iranian editor
of the Russian journal "Boundless Borders of Space", told ISNA.
"I wrote the book 'Preliminaries of Astronomy' a few years ago.
I have recently decided to include the astronomers' signatures in the book.
I managed to persuade station commander Pavel Vinogradov to display
the book along with the collection by Farshchian," he said.
In addition to the cargo such as equipment, food, and water supplies,
each cosmonaut and astronaut will be given a personal box sent by his family and friends, Borzu explained.
"The collection and the book will be sent to Vinogradov in his personal box," he added.
