Francisco,
I have an EF500 DG Super. I don't notice any over exposure problems with it
on my D70. I typically leave it in TTL BL mode and it works fine.
Occasionally I have noticed some overexposure if it's in TTL mode if there
is a large exposure difference between the foreground subject and the
background. This has only happened to me a few times so I don't know if it's
the flash the D70's metering of just something I did.
I've also used the EF500 in wireless iTTL mode. You have to set the camera's
flash to commander mode TTL and then with the Sigma attached to the D70 and
the D70 turned on you pless the mode button until the EF500 screen says: 1
C1 SL
Once you to this setting, pless the "SEL" button and the C1 will start
flashing, press the "+" button until it says C3 and then press "SEL" again.
Take the flash off the camera, the focus illuminator should be flashing
about once per second. You're now in wireless iTTL mode.
