iMac and Linux (please help)

I just got an older iMac for free (G3), bought an mac OS 9 and tryed it, now
it would be fun to try to run a minimalistic Linux on the dammed thing... Is
there anyone out there that nows a reasonable Linux-product for a newcommer
to the Mac/Linux world.....

YellowDogLinux is made for mac hardware.
