Hvor jeg læste nedenstårnde. Jeg tror ikkeman kan disable brevet, men
man kan måske udnytte noget der ligner en bug (men som vist ikke er
det
døm selv:
"Visual Mail Alert OE incorporates a visual alert for new mail.
When you receive new mail, an envelope appears in the tool tray on
the Taskbar. Again, this only works if you have OE open. If you
receive a message and have not read it when you close Mail, the
envelope will not reappear in the tool tray when you reopen Mail at a
later time. Some users have complained that the New Mail Notification
icon that appears in the tool tray mysteriously disappears. Usually,
this results from having enabled "Message is read after being
previewed for x seconds" under Tools | Options | Read. What is
happening is that OE is dutifully notifying you of the message, then
marking it as read which turns off the New Mail icon. To keep this
from happening, disable the option that automatically marks messages
as read."
