mvh

actually i read an article in the latest macworld magazine, where it said
that one of the new feat's in 10.2 would be a 'minimize in place'-feature,
which wouldd do exactly w3hat u described (collapsing windows to their
titlebar instead of 'slurping' them into the dock).
nevertheless i'm using 10.2 for 3 days now, and still haven't found where
that setting is... i did on the otherhand read a posting on
versiontracker.com, that said, that 10.2 is not as finished as apple would
like it to be, and that in the current version of 10.2 there are some things
missing, that should follow with the next update (10.2.1 or so...).

minimize in place was removed shortly after the developer seeding - it
was never intended as a final feature, but mearly as tool in the early
developer stage.
