Opdatér din BIOS, gå tilbage til 21.83 drivere, det virkede for mig. Ellers
se her:
Problems with Via chipset and Nvidia accelerator?
There has been whispering that Nvidia's new 23.11 drivers can cause
instability with motherboards with Via KtXXX chipsets. The drivers seem to
write data to memoryunits that the chipsets thinks that are "off
limits".This ofcoz ain't too good for the integrity of your system and may
cause bluescreening and system halting, WinXP reports "win32k.sys" to be one
to blame with different addresses.
But there is a catch:
The fix for this is the latest (at this time 4.37A) servicepack from Via
(download from
www.viahardware.com), it works straight for Win9x BUT not for
WinXP and prolly not for Win2k either. You can run the setup but actually
your drivers aren't updated.
Here is how you can do it:
Open Control panel and then doubleclick "System" icon. Select "Hardware"
from the bar and press "Device manager" button. This opens the device
manager window where you can change the drivers. Open "System Devices" tree,
you should see devices beginning with "Via Tech.." name, these are the
DEFAULT WinXP drivers that are installed when you first install your system.
Now, there are at least four devices that needs to be updated:
Via Tech CPU to AGP controller -> Via CPU to AGP controller
Via Tech CPU to PCI Bridge -> Via Standard CPU to PCI Bridge
Via Tech PCI to ISA Bridge -> Via Standard PCI to ISA Bridge
PCI Bus -> Via PCI to PCI bridge
The .inf that contains all the information to install these devices can be
found from:
\yourtempdir\Via\Inf
There are few other drivers still in the package, but I couldn't yet figure
out what devices should I change.
