Council of Ethics has objected to trade o~

Council of Ethics has objected to trade of kidneys and other
organs/tissue.
Their Chairman is sceptical when "the donor of an organ is happy of
receiving 200000 D.Kr and the receiver has saved his life. We have
forgotten humanity in this utilitarian ethical calculation.
Nevertheless many Danes return from India every year after successful
transplants of kidneys etc
If all donors were brothers in spirit and donated without money being
involved, the opposition of Ethics advisers would be little
Since Danes earn more money than Indians, economical compensation has
helped the new tecknique reaching more sick people than would
otherwise be helped
Perhaps poor Indian farmers have helped some of their kids to survival
and without the organ trade they would have died
Council of Ethics should not be so fast judging on what happens far
away from our culture
Their ealier chairman disliked a Swiss private suicide clinic that has
extended its service to Danes , who pay for cremation and other
practical expenses
When grownups barter and keep their word, medical experts do not
nessecarily need to involve themselves.
