Guillain-Barre er slet ikke nogen ny sygdom. Mange får den hvert år
efter almindelige virusinfektioner, ofte bare små forkølelser osv. Den
er selvlimiterende men er selvfølgelig meget meget slem i dens akutte
stadie.
Da det er en autoimmun lidelse, på baggrund af krydsreaktion mellem
kroppens egne antistoffer og rygmarven så kan vacciner give den, men
almindelige forkølelser osv er lige så slemme.
Give and take - intet nyt under solen. Og i hvertfald ikke noget man
skal gå i selvsving over (imo).
