Accidental, recreational use of alcohol to increase happiness in a group is
an important aspect of Danish contribution to the world.
We have relatively few crimes that are linked to drunkenness, considering
our large consumption.

Number of Danes that have not drunk alcohold latest 12 months is 7% ,
Poles 28%,
Germans 19%
according to the Politiken Daily today - EU 25% - and Moslem countries much
, much more though they lie so statistics are not reliable.
When I worked in Afghanistan 1974-6 all neigbors asked me for selling booze
to them and when I sold to collegues they asked me againagainagian - and
called them selves holy Moslems.
