Hej Hansler
Which Mac is it? - Is it one of the older ones with the round connecting
plugs 8-pins DIN4507? - or is it one of the newer with USB?
Is your printer an inkjet printer, - which mark and model, - or a
laserwriter, - mark and model, - and how is it connected - via USB or via the
ethernet?
The Jaguar does not support printers connected through the older round 8-pins
connectors, though the Jaguar can recognize the serial ports, they can't be
used for anything except afew modems.
So if your printer is an older type - a non-network compatible - that isn't
able to be connected through the ethernet (via a hub), you woun't be able to
use it in Jaguar. - It will only be usuable in pure Mac OS 9.x, when booted
in the classic Mac OS.
There is no work-around for this on older Macs, if you can't connect via an
ethernet hub or an ethernet switch. There aren't either any work-arounds, if
your printer isn't network compatible.
