the rules for Roller Poopie.

ROLLER POOPIES...A Game Thatís Fun for the Whole Family!!

Roller Poopies (thanks to Margot Kruskall for coining the name) is a
feline game played nearly exclusively by the Burmese cat (I have not yet
met a breeder of another breed who will admit to the fact that their
cats and kittens play it too).
While Burmese kittens are the usual participants in games of Roller
Poopies, adult Burms have also been observed in the complexities of the
sport. After several months of personal observation, the polling of
other Burmese breeders and owners, and a little conjecture I feel that I
have discovered the definitive rules that govern the play and scoring of
Roller Poopies.
RULES FOR PLAY
One or more Burmese cats and/or kittens can play.
Poopies used for play must be good and dry and preferably rounded and
small in order to roll properly and fit into the various goals.
A non-carpeted floor should be used as the playing court (e.g., a
kitchen floor, bathroom floor, cattery floor, etc.).
Play may occur at a cat show in an exhibit cage but one MUST be certain
that an audience of spectators is present so that the owner can be
suitably embarrassed.
To be played at night - just as the owners are about to fall to sleep.
250 points must be scored in an eight hour period which is divided into
four 1 hour periods of play interchanged with four 1 hour rest periods.

On wood steps between 12 MN and 6 AM...........20 points

After 2 AM....................................................10 points
If owner confiscates poopie in play and another
is put in play within 10 minutes.............15 points
As you have probably guessed, there are DEGREE OF DIFFICULTY points that
can be awarded...but, thatís another story. For now, if you have
observed your Burms playing this challenging game, you may wish to score
them.
Our current champ is on a winning streak - 24 games and no fewer than
300 points per game!! And, this article is certifiable evidence that she
is driving us crazy!!!
